Michaelmas Goose Crewel Wool Embroidery

Michaelmas, a celebration at the start of the farming year in September, has long been marked by the eating of a goose. In a twist on this traditional image, Jay Hoper of Dizzy and Creative has designed a glorious brightly coloured goose, stitched onto a linen fabric using a variety of embroidery stitches. When completed using Appletons crewel wool, the desgn measures 32 x 32 cm.
