Lovebirds 14 inch Cushion

The designs are inspired by the simple shapes and stylised floral motifs seen in traditional Scandinavian needlework with the use of cool colours creating a sense of calm'. Lovebirds were inspired by the collared doves who are a favourite visitor to Katrin’s garden, always appearing as a pair!

This 14 inch square needlepoint / tapestry kit has been transformed from a piece of original artwork by Katrin Eagle, these simple stylised Scandi Cornflower floral motifs and Doves are a wonderful way to stitch your time away on this pleasant colourful needlepoint.

‘Lovebirds’ has a matching design called ‘Songbirds’ they both use the same Scandinavian style and colour used in traditional needlework, both needlepoint kits also have a similar colour pallet although different enough to let them stand on their own.

It is envisaged that the needlepoint is to be stitched in Tent stitch, over the colour printed canvas, we have tried our best to make it as clear as possible, however we do supply full colour and Black and White charts, to help you along for referencing to which stitch is which colour.
